Posting for Progress
Rather than wait for every project in the queue to be complete before blogging I've decided to celebrate any progress and blather about whatever is on any day's drawing board, in whatever state it may be.
Today I have certainly not achieved absolute levelness or squareness but I have begun to build something that resembles my scribblings. It's Madison's 'hug' coming to life.
If I ever construct another hug I'll do it differently. I'm taking lots of notes. What could be different might be better even now, but I'm focusing on moving forward. Just build it.
An awkward part of the hug is that once built it must be dissasembled to a point. It won't fit through the doorways and it will probably be stupid heavy. There's also a nagging doubt that the finished piece will fit in the space intended. I did measure the waiting space half a dozen times but me and numbers...?
My delight wants to dim at the thought of the disassembly and the math. It shines again when I think of how much Madison is going to love having this hug tucked into the corner of her room.
